Description
Envy is a gorgeous, lime-green dahlia flowered zinnia that brings a fresh, modern twist to the garden. Its unusual colour looks stunning against purples, pinks, and whites — or as a cool contrast in a mixed bouquet. One of the most unique and eye-catching zinnias you can grow.
The blooms are large, double or semi-double, and grow on strong, upright stems — perfect for cutting. Height 60–75 cm (24–30”), Spread 30–40 cm (12–16”)
How to grow:
Sow indoors for an early start in March-April. Sow seeds 0.5 cm (¼”) deep in pots or modules as they don’t like root disturbance. Plant out after all risk of frost has passed. Sow direct outdoors May-June 0.5 cm (¼”) deep in a weed free and well raked seed bed (the sunnier the position, the better). Keep watered in dry weather and thin plants to 15 – 30cm (6 – 12”) apart once established. Remove fading flowers to encourage further blooms. They work well in containers too!
