Description
This versatile hardy perennial not only makes for a fabulous border plant but can be used as a fresh cut flower creating an airy halo of white stars in any arrangement. In dried flower arrangements it’s dried buds and foliage bring an ethereal effect. Popular with pollinators too!
How to grow: April-June, sow on the surface of a tray of fine, moist compost, place tray in a propagator or polythene bag in a warm place. Germination typically takes 14-21 days. Pot on when seedlings are bit enough to handle before planting out in a sunny position after the last frost, spacing plants at least 50cm (20”) apart. Hardy perennial. Plant height 100cm (39”).
