30 x Yellow Flag Iris (Iris pseudacorus) Seeds
A perennial plant with long pointed leaves and spectacular flowers from May to July followed by unusual seed heads providing interest into the Autumn. Great for wildlife!
Suitable for planting in wet ground and pond edges.

How to grow: Sow in early spring. Germination can be improved by placing the seeds in the fridge for a week prior to sowing. Sow several seed in a pot of compost 1.5cm (1/2”) deep. Water well and keep very moist. Place in a cold frame or unheated greenhouse. Transplant when big enough to handle into individual pots to grow on before moving to final position. If planting in a pond use aquatic compost and position so that the crown of the plant is no deeper than 20cm (8”) in the water. Plant height 80-100cm (30-40”).
