Description

This fabulous perennial native wildflower also known as Bladder Campion is a fabulous and easy to grow addition to any flower patch. Flowers can be cut and used in arrangements. In Italy, the young shoots and leaves are picked and often used to flavour risotto. An unusual flower distinguised by it’s inflated balloon like ‘bladder’ calyx behind delicate white flowers. Easy to grow. 

Direct sow in Spring once the soil has started to warm up (typically April onwards) or in Autumn. Scatter seeds over a weed free, well prepared bed and cover lightly with soil by carefully raking in. Germination takes up to 21 days. Plant height up to 80cm (32”).
