Description
A half hardy annual producing an abundance of colourful cactus flowered blooms. Perfect for cutting as this encourages more flowers to grow. Suitable for container planting. Plant height up to 75cm (30”).
Sow indoors for an early start in March-April. Sow seeds 0.5 cm (¼”) deep in pots or modules as they don’t like root disturbance. Plant out after all risk of frost has passed. Sow direct outdoors May-June 0.5 cm (¼”) deep in a weed free and well raked seed bed (the sunnier the position, the better). Keep watered in dry weather and thin or plant out to 15 – 30cm (6 – 12”) spacing. Remove fading flowers to encourage further blooms. They work well in containers too! Plant height up to 75cm (30”).
