Dill Vierling – Anethum graveolens x 300 seeds
This strain of Dill has extra strong stems making it a top choice in cut flower arrangements throughout Europe. Bluish-green fronds and flowers are very aromatic and can be used in cooking, salads and ferments.
How to grow: late April onwards, sow in prepared seed bed in blocks or short rows 1cm (½”) deep. Exposure to frost is likely to encourage flowering. Once established, thin to 15cm (6”). Sow successively every few weeks to ensure a steady supply of the herb and flowers. Plant height up to 90cm (3ft).
