£1.65

Dill with fronds and flowers that can be used in cooking or cut to be used in cut flower arrangements

Description

Fern like fronds and umbrella seed heads are used as a culinary herb. Mammoth goes to seed more readily than some other varieties. The fronds and flowers can be cut and used in cut flower arrangements. In the UK it is grown as an annual plant.

How to grow: late April onwards, sow in prepared seed bed in blocks or short rows 1cm (½”) deep. Exposure to frost is likely to encourage flowering. Once established, thin to 15cm (6”). Sow successively every few weeks to ensure a steady supply of the herb and flowers. Plant height up to 90cm (3ft). 1000 seeds
